Compulsory Seaplane transfer (35 minutes) from Male Airport:

Seaplane is managed by a third party named Trans Maldivian Airways. Guests are advised to provide flight details and all full names to the hotel 3 days before arrival for the arrangement.

Airport service is available at scheduled times from 06:00 to 15:30.

To meet these timelines, the guest’s outbound flight must arrive in the Maldives between 06:00 and 15:30 and inbound flights from the Maldives must depart between 09:00 and 20:00.

Guests arriving or departing outside of these hours are advised to book 1 night accommodations at a hotel near the Airport in Male or Hulhumale.

Cancellation within 24 hours before arrival/ departure will be charged 100%.

What was the highlight of Fushifaru Maldives
Paradise
With there being so many resorts to choose from in the Maldives, it can be very hard to choose the right one. I eventually decided on Fushifaru and I did not regret it one bit. The scenery is simply stunning, food and beverage choices are plentiful and it was great to have everything a maximum 5-10 minute walk away. I came across some reviews saying that there wasn't much to do on the island and it is small, however I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of activities available, particularly watersports, with something different to choose from everyday and a different theme each night in the bar and restaurants. For eating our favourite restaurant was the Rakanni restaurant, they have Teppanyaki nights here which are very entertaining and the food on the a la carte menu is brilliant (the truffle risotto was the nicest I had ever tasted). The buffet restaurant is also fantastic, with a great variety of food to choose from. For snorkeling, the water is crystal clear and there is a good variety of fish. If you book one of the pool or jacuzzi water villas there is a good area to snorkel a short 20 foot swim away if you are at the end of the row of villas near the pier steps. Also important to mention the staff, everyone is so pleasant and they will go out of their way to help you. You get assigned a host upon arrival and they provide you with all the information you need, including transfers, making reservations, booking activities, all via WhatsApp so super simple. Diksha was our host for the week we were there and she was an absolute delight, really puts her heart and soul into making sure you have the best experience possible. Overall, a truly wonderful experience and we hope to return someday.
Couldn't fault the place, this was my second time in the Maldives and my best yet.

What was the highlight of Fushifaru Maldives
Paradise on earth
From the moment you arrive to the last minute you stay on the island, everything is perfect. It compensates the long journey, with smooth transfers manage by the Resort. You may be afraid to come for such a small and isolated island, but there is more than plenty to combine relaxation with culture and fun. As with most places I have been to, the people make the difference and the staff at Fushifaru really excels. I have to start with Vimal Sharma, our waiter most of the days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hard-working, nice, caring and proactive, a real asset for the 2 restaurants on the island, very well managed and led by the nice Chef Simon and his sous-chef. Other staff from the restaurants deserve that we name them because they really work hard to make you feel at home: Daloar, from the fruit stand in the morning. Tharindu, from the barbecue with his special garlic naan for my daughter. Jalaal, at the egg/omelette stand. Waiters Shafeeu, Hakee and Rishi, supporting our great Vimal. Ali, taking care of our room twice a day, and inviting me and my wife for taking part of a fun Maldivian dance, where Azeem and the rest of the team did a fantastic show. Ryan for leading the Karaoke night and helping Azeem on a very informative coconut show. We had a great dolphin and turtles private boat tour with captain Lupey and the great Fala showing us the dolphins and the turtles, and shooting a great underwater movie for us. Last but not least, Chelsea, our dedicated host, always making sure we were fine, and had nothing to worry about. And a word to the nice General Manager at Fushifaru. Mr. Ahmed, who hosted us for an informative conversation. You must be very proud of your team and this lovely island built from the ground up to delight everyone that sets foot on it.
There is really not much we can say on this side of the comments. It’s an island, with all nature you can find on it, on land and underwater, and you should cherish all bugs, lizards, bats, coral and amazing fish you will see. Enjoy!

Beautiful island with amazing crew
I had a really great time in Fushifaru. The island itself is like a dream, amazing beaches, wonderful sealife. The villa was clean and wonderful, the food was great. The crew was friendly and helpful (thank you Michelle). This place is the perfect location for a holiday when you need a little rest. The program options were also nice. I had a nice time snorkling with turtles and a wonderful boat ride with dolphins. I left this place with beautiful memories and I am sure I will come back soon. :)
